Binding: Seventeenth-century English calf; bound for the Bodleian Library(?); lined with fragments from a printed sixteenth-century(?) Greek-Latin dictionary; remains of ties. Formerly chained: staple-marks of a hasp at the head of the upper cover.

Size: 197 × 154 × 41 mm.

Size of leaf: 193 × 139 mm.

Cropped early English marginal annotations, including comments on the text, ‘nota' marks, and pointing hands, also underlining in the text in black ink, and some scribbles and drawings (a human face on a3r).

Provenance: W. Swallow (sixteenth century); inscription on a1r: ‘[Pro] W. Swalow'. Acquired by 1674: see Hyde, Catalogus (1674), I 421.
