Binding: Eighteenth-century gold-tooled sprinkled calf; yellow-edged leaves; marbled pastedowns.

Copious early marginal annotations, including ‘nota' marks, pointing hands, and extraction of key words, with page numbers (in the table of contents), also underlining in the text in black ink.
