Binding: Eighteenth-century(?) half parchment; marbled paper boards; sprinkled blue edges. Shelfmarks on the spine in black ink: ‘C.C.IV.5'; ‘46'.

Size: 237 × 176 × 35 mm.

Size of leaf: 229 × 169 mm.

Early marginal and interlinear annotations, including comments on the text, pointing hands, and ‘nota' marks. Two sheets of notes in Italian in an eighteenth/nineteenth-century hand attached to the recto of the front endleaf, also a note on [e7r]. Bibliographical notes on the recto of the first front endleaf dated 1824.

Paragraph marks and running book numbers are supplied in red.

Provenance: Heavily cancelled inscription(?) on the recto of the first front endleaf. Purchased for £15. 15. 0; see Books Purchased (1833), 16.
