Binding: Contemporary German (Augsburg, Kyriß workshop no. 88) blind-tooled half calf over wooden boards, with remains of clasp and catch. On both covers triple fillets form a frame within which is a floral and foliate roll (Kyriß pl. 179, roll no. 3). Two eighteenth/nineteenth-century labels at the head of the upper cover: ‘Neu.16.A.26'; ‘N.11790'.

Size: 209 × 145 × 45 mm.

Size of leaf: 198 × 137 mm.

Provenance: Johannes de Wildenstein (sixteenth century); inscription on the front pastedown: ‘Joanni de Wildenstain'. Albert Cohn; Catalogue 168, either no. 267 or no. 268. Purchased from Cohn for either 10 or 12 Marks: see Library Bills, 5 Nov. 1885, no. 319.
