Wanting the blank leaves [a1] and [P4]. The woodcut is backed.

Binding: Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf; scars of index tabs.

Size of leaf: 306 × 221 mm.

Some early marginal notes, including corrections in black ink on [i4r] and [r9r].

On [b2r] a six-line initial is supplied in green with acanthus-scrolling in green and yellow on a gold ground with extensions into the margin green, brown and pink; on [n1v] an eight-line initial 'R' is supplied in blue edged with red and decorated in red; on [x2r] a seven-line initial 'T' is supplied in red decorated with red, orange and yellow acanthus-scrolling on a blue ground, decorated with gold and edged in green and brown segments; on [y1r] a six-line initial 'D' is supplied in interlocked red and blue, decorated in red; on [E1r] a six-line initial 'E' and on [G1r] a six-line initial 'T', are supplied, both in blue and decorated in red; other one- to six-line initials are supplied in red or blue, with extensions into the margins; capital strokes in red. On [m10r] a printed face, and on [x7r] a face of Christ.
