Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf; bound for the Bodleian Library; the gold stamp of the Library on both covers.

Size of leaf: 280 × 200 mm.

Early marginal annotations in red ink.

One- to six-line initials, some with extensions into the margins, and paragraph marks are supplied in red; capital strokes and underlining in red.

Provenance: Erased inscription on [a2r], unread under ultraviolet light. Anonymous sale, 11 Mar. 1825, lot 428. Presumably purchased in 1825; see ‘Catalogus Bibliothecae Novae', fol. 174v: ‘Hamburg 1825'; but no note of purchase in the book, as with the other books bought in Hamburg, and not found in Books Purchased (1825).
