Binding: Eighteenth/nineteenth-century half mottled calf over marbled pasteboards, the spine gold-tooled; red-edged leaves.

Size: 211 × 147 × 30 mm.

Size of leaf: 206 × 138 mm.

Early manuscript foliation: 1-75.

On a1r a three-line initial ‘Q' (`O' in item 2) is supplied in blue with red pen-work decoration. Other two- and three-line initials are supplied in red or blue. Paragraph marks and capital strokes in red. Early foliation in black ink (2-75), in the same hand as for item 2, showing that the two items have been travelling together from soon after the time they were printed (1480-1).

Provenance: Francis Douce (1757-1834); armorial book-plate. Bequeathed in 1834.
