Bibliographical note in French on front endleaf in an early nineteenth-century hand, probably by Gasparolli.
On a1r an eight-line initial ‘D' is supplied in interlocked red and blue with red and brown pen-work decoration extending into the margin. Other initials, some with reserved white decoration, paragraph marks, and underlining of chapter headings are supplied in red; capital strokes in red.
Provenance: Abbé Gasparolli (fl. 1776). Purchased by Heber for £1. 11. 6, according to the price annotated in red ink in Heber's sale catalogue.
