On a1r a series of short quotations from Hieronymus, Gerson, and Quintilian in an early hand. In the lower margin of b5v a note in a sixteenth-century hand: ‘Papa Sixtus 4us autoritate apostolica remisit cunctis hanc orationem pie dicentibus XI annorum penitentia. Maria.’
Initials, paragraph marks, and partial colouring of the woodcuts supplied in red.
