Fragment, part of sheet 2gg3.6 only, used as back pastedown and endleaf in Manuale parochorum ... pro provincia Salisburgensi (Ingolstadt: David Sartorius, 1582), shelfmark II 10 Th.

Binding (of II 10 Th.): Sixteenth-century English (Oxford?) blind-tooled calf over pasteboards; ornamental centrepiece (cf. Ker, Pastedowns, centrepiece xv, and Pearson, Oxford Bookbinding, centrepiece xv), and fillets on both covers; two ties lost; re-backed. Red-edged leaves. Formerly chained: staple marks of a hasp at the head of the upper cover. '10' in black ink on fore-edge.

Size of binding: 215 × 174 × 45 mm.

Size of fragments: 204 × 159 mm.

Provenance: provenance and date of acquisition unknown.
