Provenance: Possibly the copy mentioned in the Benefactors' Register I 67, purchased with money given in 1603 by Sir Edmund Udal (fl. 1603): ‘Officii Missae expos. fo. 1487.’ Acquired by 1620; see James, Catalogus (1620), 297; shelfmark: ‘16' in black ink at the head of the fore-edge.
