Binding: Eighteenth-century English(?) gold-tooled red morocco; gauffred edges; marbled pastedowns.

Size of leaf: 202 × 139 mm.

Marginal annotations, many apparently in the hand of Johannes Vlahoricsh(?) (see below), including comments on the text and ‘nota' marks.

Three- to ten-line initials (some with extensions into the margins), paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlining are supplied in red.

Provenance: Johannes Vlahoricsh(?) (fl. 1610); inscription on v7v: ‘Joannes Vlahoricsh(?) parochus in Proder[ ]or[ ] ad Bulcham possedit hunc librum ab anno 1610 usque ad mortem suam'. Francis Douce (1757-1834); armorial book-plate. Bequeathed in 1834.
