The corners of a2 have been damaged and repaired.

Binding: Nineteenth-century quarter calf over mottled paper boards; green-edged leaves. A parchment index tab on k1.

Size: 282 × 214 × 29 mm.

Size of leaf: 275 × 201 mm.

Some early marginal notes, including extraction of key words, and ‘nota' marks, also underlining in the text in black ink. Pen-trials on r4v.

Two-, three-, and six-line initials, some with extensions into the margins, paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlining are supplied in red.

Provenance: Richard Heber (1773-1833); stamp on the recto of the front endleaf; not identified in Catalogue. J. T. Hand (fl. 1834-1837), 1835; note on the recto of the front endleaf: ‘J. T.
