The author and title are written on [a1r] in a fifteenth/sixteenth-century hand. Cropped early annnotations on [air] and [c6v], unread under ultraviolet light.
Partial rubrication: a two-line initial ‘H' is supplied on [a2r], also paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlining on [a2r-v].
Provenance: Francis Douce (1757-1834); armorial book-plate. Bequeathed in 1834.
