Between [a1] and [a2] is an eighteenth-century(?) engraving of a brother of the Common Life, entitled ‘Frère de la Vie Commune', on which a note has been written in pencil ‘This is taken from [Pierre] Lambinet'; it has not proved possible to verify this claim.
