Binding: Nineteenth-century gold-tooled blue morocco; gilt-edged leaves.

Size of leaf: 190 × 133 mm.

Some marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, but also providing corrections to the text, in a sixteenth-century hand. An engraving from Phalaris, Epistolae, ed. Charles Boyle (Oxford, 1718) has been pasted onto the front endleaf.
