An engraving of Franciscus Philelphus has been pasted onto the verso of the last leaf of item 1, probably by Douce.

A few marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, and a few drawings in an early hand, different from the one that annotated item 3.

On a2r an eight-line initial ‘Q' is supplied in interlocked red and blue with blue and red pen-work decoration. Other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue.

Provenance: ‘Frater Caesar Joly' (sixteenth century); inscriptions on n1r and o1r, in a different hand from the one that annotated the text.
