Some marginal notes, extracting key words, translating and commenting on the text in English, supplying the Greek words in the blank spaces provided in the text, and quoting sentences and proverbs in Latin with an English translation, in an early hand.
A few initials are supplied in red.
Provenance: Early English ownership, on G8v, heavily erased: ‘D[ ]'. Unidentified sale, Leigh & Sotheby, 1806. Richard Heber (1773-1833); note, apparently in his hand, on the recto of the front endleaf: ‘L & S 1806 -4s -3d -'; not identified in his Catalogue. J. T.
