Binding: Eighteenth-century mottled calf, the spine gold-tooled. Red-edged leaves, marbled pastedowns, and green silk bookmark.

At the beginning of each item, an epigraphic initial is supplied in blue within a square ground made of red pen-work decoration, which extends into the margin. Other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue.
