Binding: Nineteenth-century light brown morocco, stamped with the arms of Stuart de Rothesay: or, a fess chequy azure and argent and in chief a mullet. Sprinkled blue and red-edged leaves; green silk bookmark.

Size: 190 × 135 × 33 mm.

Size of leaf: 183 × 125 mm.

Some marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, and ‘nota' marks in an early hand in brown ink. On h2v five lines deleted in the same brown ink.

Provenance: Unidentified inscription on the title-page of item 2: ‘Ex libris [ ]'. Charles Stuart (1779-1845), Lord de Rothesay; sale, lot 2876, purchased by Stewart for £11. 0. 0. Purchased for £6. 0. 0; see Books Purchased (1855), 50 (‘Sevilla, 1524' probably a mistake).
