Binding: Nineteenth-century French gold-tooled red morocco, bound by Simier: vine border, spine powdered with gold; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers; gilt-edged leaves; marbled pastedowns; green silk bookmark.

Size: 270 × 182 × 20 mm.

Size of leaf: 263 × 168 mm.

Folio numbering in roman figures supplied in a seventeenth-century(?) hand.

Provenance: Partially obliterated armorial stamp ([ ]. A. L.?). Antoine Augustin Renouard (1765-1853); sale (1830), lot 1053. Purchased at the Renouard sale for £2. 0. 0; ‘Auct. 1830' on verso of the front endleaf; Books Purchased (1830), 21.
