Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled black paper boards with the title and typographical information gold-tooled on the upper cover; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers.
Size: 308 × 215 × 17 mm.
Size of leaf: 305 × 214 mm.
Some early marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, in a sixteenth-century German hand in dark brown ink. Some other notes, providing conceptual corrections to the text with reference to the work of Gilles Ménage, Juris civilis amoenitates (Paris, 1664, etc.), in a seventeenth/eighteenth-century hand in light brown and red ink. Probably in the same hand, in the list of contents on R6r some attributions and some spellings have been amended.
