a1v Marsus, Petrus: [Letter addressed to] Virginius Ursinus. ‘Interpretatio in Syllium Italicum'. CTC III 387-8. Marsus mentions his earlier version of the commentary, sent to Robertus Ursinus, the commentary of Petrus Odus Monopolitanus, and his teachers, Domitius Calderinus and Pomponius Laetus; CTC III 387.

Wanting the leaves [rum3-4].

Binding: Blind-tooled calf, c.1700; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. The title in gilt on a red leather label on the spine. A word (unread) is written along the lower edge.

Size: 321 × 225 × 33 mm.

Size of leaf: 311 × 210 mm.

A cut-away inscription in a sixteenth-century(?) hand on a1r. A few ‘nota' signs in a contemporary hand.

Initials are supplied in red or blue.
