Binding: Nineteenth-century gold-tooled (fillets only) half calf over marbled pasteboards, with the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Sprinkled brown-edged leaves.

On a2r a four-line initial ‘E' is supplied in blue with reserved white decoration. Other initials, paragraph marks, and capital strokes are supplied in red.
