Provenance: Purchased in 1959 from Quaritch, Catalogue 788, no. 848; see BLR 6,6 (1961), 665-6; it came from the binding of a volume of Galen's works printed in Venice 1490; see the nineteenth-century(?) note in the lower margin: ‘Hocce folium ex ligatura veteri operum Galeni, Venet'. 1490, disiunctum est'.
