Nos Rodericus . . . die uicesima septima eiusdem mensis [Aug. 1471] in cancellaria apostolica fecimus publicari . . .’

[a7v] [Note on the publication.] ‘Lecte et publicate fuerunt supradicte Regule Rome in Cancellaria apostolica die martis .xxvii. mensis Augusti anno domini M.cccc.lxxi. Indictione quarta pontificatus S. d. n. d. Sixti pape .iiii. anno primo. G[regorio]. de Puteo. Et in audientia contradictarum die mercurii secunda Octobris anno et pontificatus ut supra Or[su] de Ursinis locumtenen[te]'. Gregorius de Puteo was at this date ‘abbreviator in parco minori'; see Frenz 340 no. 865. Ursus de Ursinis was a ‘decretorum doctor' soon to become Bishop of Tricarico (18 Oct. 1471); Franz 451 no. 2176.
