Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled blue morocco; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers; gilt-edged leaves; orange pastedowns.

Size: 268 × 194 × 20 mm.

Size of leaf: 258 × 175 mm.

Some brackets are supplied in a contemporary hand. The leaves are numbered (wrongly) in pencil.

Ruling in red ink on [a2-3] and [a5].

Provenance: Probably Pietro-Antonio Bolongaro-Crevenna (1735-1792); printed label of the sale (1789), part IV, lot 5731; in the annotated catalogue (‘ancienne reliure') marked down to Thomas Payne for Fl. 75. Purchased for £8. 8. 0; see Books Purchased (1790), 8.
