Remarks: Pr assigns to [Antoine Caillaut?]. This edition appears to be distinct from the Pigouchet Speculum of [c.1489], despite references by Goff (S‑643) and Oates (3063-4) to the present Pr number.

Leaf a1, as described by Pellechet, contains a printed title but in this copy is blank.

Some marginal notes, mainly ‘nota' marks and some structuring of the text, in an early hand, brown ink, probably that of da Ponte.

On a2r a four-line initial ‘V' is supplied in red with reserved white decoration. Paragraph marks and chapter heading underlining in red, only on this leaf.
