On B5v –B6r of item 2, two sets of notes in a sixteenth-century hand, the first a mnemonic line summarizing the preceding passage, ‘Ram rim ro mutant. I. [in E]. Sem sem se retinent. I', and the second, on comparisons, the comparative and superlative, with incipit, ‘Wat ys a comparyson? A lykenes, what nowys may receyue that lykenes nownys, adiectyfys . . .' (29 lines).
