aa1v [Advertisement of publication.] It states that the statutes were edited by the members of the Council of the republic of Parma and made public on 12 June 1494, under the governorship of Ludovicus Maria Sforza for the Duke of Milan, Johannes Galeaz Maria Sforza. The advertisement follows a list of all the members. See Chelazzi V 220-22.

Leaf D8 mutilated and backed.

Binding: Eighteenth-century sheep [according to a note by A. W. Pollard, Library Records c.1054], with the title gold-tooled on a square brown leather label at the head of the spine. Sprinkled blue-edged leaves. A little square stamp containing a Maltese cross, black ink, is pasted onto the front pastedown.

Size: 298 × 215 × 45 mm.

Size of leaf: 289 × 198 mm.

Some marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, and a few pointing hands, in a sixteenth-century Italian hand, light brown ink.
