Binding: Contemporary parchment, with remains of leather strings. Manuscript title and ‘MB' on the spine.
Size: 204 × 144 × 25 mm.
Size of leaf: 198 × 140 mm.
Occasional marginal notes, mainly providing corrections to the text, in the same ink, and probably the same hand, that wrote the Plankstetten inscription. ‘Rmj.DD: Wilhelmus de Reichenau' in brown ink on the verso of the front endleaf in a later hand.
Provenance: Plankstetten, Bavaria, Benedictines, SS. Maria et Johannes evangelista; inscription on a1r: ‘Monasterij Blankstadiani'. ‘No. 31 Bibl. Re(?)' in red crayon in the upper margin of the verso of the front endleaf. Duplicate from the Royal Library, Munich; ‘Dupl' in pencil on the verso of the front endleaf, ‘3407' in pencil on the upper cover. Acquired between 1847 and c.1892; not found in Catalogus (1843), with Appendix.
