On B6v a note in a seventeenth-century German hand: ‘Multa milia virginum sua suos relinquentes | pro praeciosa virginitate conseruanda monasterijs se includunt ut se ipsa subijciant cibos aridos et lectos duros, vestes asperas et longas vigilias, graves disciplinas, diversas obedientias . . .’

Capital strokes in red ink.
