Binding: Seventeenth-century(?) parchment over pasteboards, with title and typographical information printed in gold on two square light brown leather labels pasted on the spine; sprinkled red-edged leaves.

On A1r a list of contents in an early sixteenth-century Italian(?) humanist hand in light brown ink. The same hand supplied the heading for chapters 1, 2, 3, and 9 of Themistius' paraphrasis to the first book of De Anima (aa1r and following), as found in later editions (in particular Venice: Bartolomaeus de Zanis, for Octavianus Scotus, 6 Oct. 1499 (T‑066)). In the same hand also some marginal notes, mainly extracting key words and summarizing the text, only to Themistius' paraphrasis of De anima, books 1 and 2.

Provenance: ‘Petri Clenerti Aisunij' (sixteenth century)(?). Ingram Bywater (1840-1914); Elenchus, no. 3263. Bequeathed in 1914.
