Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf; bound for the Bodleian Library. Seventeenth/eighteenth-century manuscript title in black ink on a square paper label now pasted on the front pastedown.

Size: 305 × 230 × 55 mm.

Size of leaf: 295 × 202 mm.

Some marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, structuring the text, and adding ‘nota' marks and pointing hands, in two early hands, one that of the rubricator, in red, the other in brown ink.

Initials, paragraph marks, chapter heading inderlining, and running chapter numbering are supplied in red; capital strokes in red.

Provenance: Faded inscription on [†10v]: ‘R/Per[ ] Holde 1610'. Duplicate from the Royal Library, Munich; ‘Duplum' in brown ink on the front endleaf. Acquired between 1847 and c.1892, probably in 1850; not in Catalogus (1843) with Appendix.
