Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf; bound for the Bodleian Library. ‘Ca Aurea' in brown ink along the fore-edge; ‘Cathena Aurea | S. T.' in brown ink upside down along the lower edge.

Size: 346 × 231 × 55 mm.

Size of leaf: 332 × 213 mm.

Occasional corrections in an early hand in brown ink. Modern manuscript foliation in dark brown ink: ‘1, 3-317'. ‘E. Plut. 2. no. 6' crossed out and ‘F. Plut. 4' both in brown ink on the front endleaf. A nineteenth-century bibliographical note on the same leaf: ‘The paper mark in this fly leaf is the Aldine anchor without the dolphin'.

Provenance: Frater Augustinus, Piove di Sacco (fifteenth century). Padua, Franciscans, S. Franciscus; inscription on a2r: ‘Ad usum fratris Augustini de Plebe sacci.
