Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled black morocco; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Sprinkled green-edged leaves; marbled pastedowns.
Size: 347 × 265 × 57 mm.
Size of leaf: 334 × 250 mm.
A few marginal notes, mainly extracting references, in an early hand in brown ink; also a few ‘nota' marks and pointing hands.
On [a1r] a 13-line initial ‘M' is supplied in interlocked red and blue with very faded violet pen-work decoration extending into the margin. Other initials, paragraph marks, and running chapter numbers are supplied in red, the main initials with violet pen-work decoration; capital strokes in red.
