In gathering [q] the seventh leaf, fol. 181, blank, has been cut away; note ‘hic nullus est defectus' is printed on [q8v], fol. 182, not as BMC. Wanting the blank leaves [y7-8].

Leaf [a1r], l. 1: ‘[ ]Oſt [con]mūeƺ conſideracōeƺ | . . .’

Binding: Nineteenth-century blind-tooled calf; bound for the Bodleian Library, with the gold stamp of the Library on both covers. A contemporary manuscript title in brown ink: ‘secunda secunde s. Thome' on a rectangular parchment label now pasted onto the front pastedown. Yellow-edged fore-edge.

Size: 420 × 315 × 50 mm.

Size of leaf: 402 × 287 mm.

Contemporary manuscript signatures, in red ink, mostly visible. Contemporary manuscript catchwords and manuscript foliation in brown ink. Running ‘quaestio' numbers and some marginal notes, mainly ‘nota' marks and corrections to the text, in an early hand. Also extraction of key words and concepts in very large letters in the upper margins, occasionally decorated in pen.

On [a1r] a seven-line initial ‘P' is supplied in blue with reserved white decoration, within a square ground made of red pen-work decoration with extension into the margin. A few other similar initials. Other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red.
