Binding: Seventeenth-century mottled calf, with ‘sunburst' gold-tooling on the spine. Title in gilt on a tan leather label on the spine. Red-edged leaves. Marbled pastedowns.

A large letter ‘ θ’ in brown ink on the verso of the front endleaf. Pen scribble on a1r.
