E6r [Explicit and publishing note.] It is stated that the treatise was read at the provincial chapter of the Mainz province of the Benedictine order held in Hirsau in 1493, where it was decided, and inserted in the statutes, that this text would be printed to be read during meals at provincial chapters in the future.

Remarks: As dated by BSB‑Ink, presumably the date of the provincial chapter where it was decided to print this text; see E6r. The dedicatory letter is dated 21 Apr. 1493 (Polain records as 11 Apr. in error).
