Binding: Nineteenth-century half purple morocco over black cloth; bound for the Bodleian Library. Green-edged leaves.

Size: 196 × 140 × 20 mm.

Size of leaf: 190 × 128 mm.

Some marginal notes, mainly extracting key words, in a number of early German hands, in brown and red ink. Also pen-trials, drawings of monks' faces and flower-pots, pointing hands, ‘nota' marks, and manuscript foliation: 1-89.

Initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; capital strokes in red.

Provenance: On I3r within the manuscript initial Q is drawn an unidentified coat of arms flanked by the letters: ‘S W | N P'. Purchased from Joseph Baer & Co., Catalogue 143, no. 249, for 10 Marks; see Library Bills (1884).
