Size of leaf: 243 × 166 mm.

A bibliographical note on a1r in a sixteenth-century hand: ‘ . . . anno 1513 Venetiis apud Lazarum Soardum'. Again on q6r, after the explicit, the same hand has added: ‘Venetiis 1513 apud Lazarum Soardum'.

On a2r and a3r three- and four-line Netherlandish(?) initials ‘B' are supplied in blue within a square ground made of floral red pen-work decoration with floral and foliate extensions into the margin; the flowers are coloured with yellow and green wash. Other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue; capital strokes in red.
