Binding: Sixteenth-century gold-tooled calf, with gilt-edged leaves and manuscript title and author's name along the fore-edge. A gilt circular floral centre-piece; a gilt bull stamp at each corner, and a repeated gilt flower-petal stamp on the spine. Holes for strings.

Size: 191 × 135 × 11 mm.

Size of leaf: 187 × 127 mm.

Occasional marginal notes, mainly extracting key words on d5r, and ‘nota' marks in an early hand in brown ink. A table of contents on d6v, in the same hand.

Provenance: Francis Douce (1757-1834); armorial book-plate. Bequeathed in 1834.
