Binding: Eighteenth-century(?) mottled blind-tooled (fillets) calf over wooden boards, with two metal clasps and catches. Manuscript title and shelfmark ‘L 3 N (?)' in red and brown ink on a rectangular paper label pasted at the tail of the spine. Sprinkled blue-edged leaves. Scar of an index tab on [c2].
Size: 287 × 216 × 58 mm.
Size of leaf: 270 × 185 mm.
A few marginal notes, mainly ‘nota' marks and interlinear notes, mainly providing corrections to the text, in an early German hand in brown ink.
Principal initials are supplied in red with reserved white decoration. Other initials and paragraph marks are supplied in red; capital strokes in red.
