Binding: Contemporary German blind-tooled calf over wooden boards, with two metal catches and remains of clasp. Yellow-edged leaves. On the upper cover, triple fillets form a triple frame. Within the outer frame a repeated rectangular foliate staff stamp. No stamps within the following frame. The inner rectangle is decorated with repeated fleuron and small six-petalled flower stamps. On the lower cover, triple fillets form a double frame. Within the outer frame a repeated rosette stamp. Diagonal quintuple fillets divide the inner rectangle into lozenge-shaped and triangular compartments, decorated with the rosette stamp.
