Binding: Nineteenth-century half calf; bound for Kloß. The gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Author's name written along the upper edge in black ink. Internal parchment reinforcement guards.

Size: 286 × 216 × 47 mm.

Size of leaf: 280 × 198 mm.

Frequent marginal notes in a c.1500 German hand, supplying, in red ink, book and section numbers in the upper margin and headings structuring the text; and in brown ink, brackets, paragraph marks, and comments on and corrections to the text. A later smaller German hand supplies notes in dark brown ink, including three dots and tail, brackets, pointing hands, and corrections to and comments on the text. Pencilled bookseller's number ‘2584-372' on the front pastedown.

On a3r a five-line initial is supplied in black ink. Elsewhere two- to three-line initials and a few paragraph marks are supplied in red or blue ink.
