Binding: Seventeenth-century north European calf, rebacked. Seventeenth-century label bearing title in gilt on the front pastedown. Most leaves repaired.
Size: 254 × 194 × 62 mm.
Size of leaf: 246 × 177 mm.
One or two marginal pictographic notes in a contemporary hand, and the letters ‘SL' on [D8r]. In a late sixteenth-century French hand: ‘valerius maximus [ ]bus fin[ ] | quam [ ]ior'. The pencilled bookseller's number ‘3668-37' on front pastedown.
