Binding: Late eighteenth-century half mottled calf over marbled paper boards; the gold stamp of the Bodleian Library on both covers. Title in gilt on the spine. Sprinkled black- and red-edged leaves.

Size: 296 × 208 × 22 mm.

Size of leaf: 292 × 201 mm.

A few marginal notes in a c.1500 Italian hand, supplying underlining, variants, and comments on the text. On [a3r] in the same hand, the note: ‘Passio domini nostri jesu christi secundum ioanem in illo tempore'.
