Wanting sheet [x1.10]. Leaves [a1] and [x9] damaged and mounted.

Four paper leaves containing bibliographical information and a transcription of the letter to Petrus Paulus Senilis in Latin in an eighteenth/nineteenth-century English hand in brown ink, are pasted on the front endleaves.

Binding: Nineteenth-century gold-tooled diced russia; bound by T. Barratt (stamp); yellow-edged leaves, marbled pastedowns; green silk bookmark.

Size: 273 × 200 × 40 mm.

Size of leaf: 260 × 176 mm.

A few marginal notes, extracting key words, and a number of phrases, often deleted, and scribbles, in the margins and blank spaces of the book in one or more early English hands.

Provenance: John Millet (fl. c.1500?); ‘Jo. Millet' on [a1r]. Edmund Hughes (sixteenth century?). William Hughes (sixteenth century?). Morris Roberts (sixteenth century); inscription on [o2v]: ‘This booke is morys Roberts booke wich wyllyam hughes recevede from Edmunde hughes of magdalen colege'. Date of acquisition unknown, and not evident from the shelfmark.
