Wanting the blank leaf a1 and leaves bb6–8, cc1–5, containing the Priapea, and gg6, containing the colophon.

Binding: Late eighteenth/early nineteenth-century gold-tooled olive morocco, stamped with the monogram ‘EVU'; dark red pastedowns.

Size: 286 × 206 × 51 mm.

Size of leaf: 273 × 186 mm.

A few marginal notes in a sixteenth-century continental hand, including running headings and brackets. Manuscript copy of colophon in an eighteenth-century hand on slip attached to the rear endleaf. Bibliographical notes in a seventeenth/eighteenth-century hand on recto of the front endleaf and notes in Duff's hand on a slip of paper attached to another front endleaf.

On a2r an Italian quarter white vine-stem borders clearly outlined in black ink, on a blue, red, and green ground incorporating a five-line initial ‘T' painted in gold; see Pächt and Alexander II, 114 no. pr. 140. Elsewhere two- to eight-line initials are supplied in red and green.
