Size of leaf: 492 × c.340 mm.

The verso is heavily annotated in Latin and Czech in a contemporary hand, dated 1497 in brown ink. It contains a memorandum of an administrative and legal character including debts and imprisonment, records of transactions involving property, in Třebíz, near Prague, and includes place and personal names, and names of town officials; ex informatione Jim Naughton.

Provenance: Albert Ehrman (1890-1969); armorial book-plate; purchased from Lathrop Colgate Harper in 1955 for £162; accession no. ‘R 1324'. Presented in 1978 by John Ehrman.
